I have never heard of that one. I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion!

It's been a while since I owned a Super Nintendo, and now I'm trying to start a new collection. So far, I have Street Fighter II, and Mario All-Stars + Mario World is on the way. I am considering getting Super Mario Kart and the DKC trilogy. Any other recommendations would be highly appreciated.
Ikr? I basically breathed new life into this thing by going against Microsoft's wishes.
There was a bug in Windows 10 where if I held the power button and swiped down to turn it off, it would act like it was shutting down, but then it would play the startup sound and load the lock screen as if I just turned it on. After the Win 11 upgrade, this never happened again.
I upgraded my "unsupported" Surface Go 1 to Windows 11 using Rufus and it somehow runs more reliably than Windows 10. System requirements make no sense sometimes.
I already ordered the Type Cover keyboard to use this as a travel laptop.
If you want a more detailed look at the tape, check out my new episode of Sleek Talks where some geek looks at a singular VHS tape for ten minutes straight.

And yes, I'm aware of the damage on the front. Nothing I can do about it, sadly. The clear cover is glued on all sides, making it impossible for me to slip out the label and put it in another box, at least without cutting the cover open which I just can't bring myself to do.
Meet the new crown jewel of my #VHS collection, the original 1982 rental release of Star Wars. This was the first time the full movie could be watched at home outside of TV airing. It uses the original 1977 stereo mix. There are also no promos or extra logos. Just the movie and an FBI warning.
I currently own two working iPods: A 3rd gen Classic, and a 1st gen Touch, both with new batteries.
I'd love to get a 1st or 2nd gen Classic just to have one with the original design, but they're quite pricey. So, that'll have to wait.
I'm open to suggestions on what iPod I should get next.
Whoops, forgot to upload images of the iPod Classic 3rd gen working. The firewire charger came in a while back. Once I plugged it in, the iPod sprung to life! Then again, I did buy it refurbished. I would have been concerned if it didn't work.
Picked up a Dell Dimension 2400 desktop for $10. I'm in the process of setting it up. I just need a mouse to match the keyboard and a mousepad, then I'm all set.
This is easily the best $10 I've ever spent. Why can't vintage PCs always be this cheap?
I finally got a working iPod Classic. This is the 3rd gen which is definitely the most unique one. I can't fully use it yet because the Firewire charger hasn't arrived yet, but it's nice to have one of these fully functional.
I showed a separate photo for the Play it Loud unit because it didn't come out well in the first photo. Plus, it's my latest addition.
My Game Boy system collection. The models are: Play it Loud Clear Game Boy, Gray Game Boy Pocket, Neotone Ice Game Boy Color, and Midnight Blue Game Boy Advance. The Midnight Blue Game Boy Advance is a Japanese Toys R Us exclusive! I'm pretty sure these are all Japanese except for the Play it Loud Game Boy.
My Play it Loud Game Boy running Mega Man Xtreme, a Mega Man X title made for Game Boy Color, but is also backward compatible with older models.
Listing for a Minuet copy of Tetris.
Game Boys are cool.
Here are the ones I own so far, all in full working order.
I also ordered a Minuet/1.0 copy of Tetris.
These sellers are profiting off of free fan-made work and absolutely deserve to get shit on.
Listings for the ED64 Plus on AliExpress.
My N64 with the ED64 Plus cart inserted. :)
Regardless if you support these or not (which you shouldn't), $40 for a singular hack is crazy! I do see the novelty in having a dedicated cart, but that price... ๐คข๐คฎ
This costs almost the same as the ED64 Plus on AliExpress. You'll get more out of that since you can add multiple ROMs via microSD.
Just saw the recent Twitter change about blocked users. How is the platform not dead yet?
I'll be using Bluesky more frequently. Thanks, Elon!
