I’ve had an engagement announcement and a baby announcement both told to me via other mediums. And people have called and texted and asked to get dinner to catch up instead of over social media. And I’ve had so much time to read! And walk outside and cook new foods and be present
Tuesday will be one month off the social media platforms that used to consume my entire life. And I won’t lie, it’s been hard. I feel like I’m missing things - wedding pictures, baby announcements, vacations and the such. But I actually haven’t missed anything! Because the people who care, reach out
