For the last 5 years, George Floyd was every dirtbag, scumbag, drug dealer you could think of and "deserved" his murder. Now folks talking about "don't speak ill of the dead." Nah, keep that same energy. Charlie Kirk was a racist, hate-spewing dirtbag. Not sad there's one less racist in the world

The idea that Kirk promoted free speech is just totally detached from reality. He promoted hate speech, and the conflation of the two is why there is so much violence.

This country has burned, maimed, hosed, lynched, sexually assaulted and enslaved Black people for CENTURIES in America and then used it as a means of intimidation towards other groups. And this expectation of empathy, of taking the high road is fucking ludicrous.
