Local friends are typically MIA or super busy too. So that's not even really an option. Nothing I can really do about it but man, it sucks!
Living on the Canadian prairies when many of your friends live in Europe is really tough. Between time zones, work, and other life stuff - scheduling something almost never works out. Like I just want to hangout and play video games. Can be super isolating, being honest. 😮💨

This is terrible for so many reasons. Jobs will be lost, content will be cancelled/consolidated and changed, theatres will suffer, and Paramount will own far too much. Politics aside, that's a very one sided group owning faaaar too much.

Started this while making dinner, but it ended up being an incredible showcase of the talent of John Williams. Not to mention, the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra is INCREDIBLE. YouTube suggestions strike again! Definitely worth the time! 😁

Forza Horizon 5 is amazing. Absolutely loving the world, the car options, the fact I can actually be named Marc and hear my name, as well as the physics/racing mechanics. Easily the best racing game I've ever played! So stoked for 6 in Japan, and so glad Xbox brought the series to PS5!!

This is such a bonehead decision from Sony. I can look on my shelf and see TONS of games that they developed, not to mention how many of them are just plain awesome. Hate to see a great group of people lose their job because Sony is busy chasing "trends" that nobody wants.... Awful.
I ordered the Arrow Hellraiser 4K boxset from a local store, expecting to pay $71.99 plus tax for it. They just called and, it's in now, and $48 more in price ($119.99) due to distributor price increases. I turned it down, and now no Hellraiser for me. I am sad. 😔

Disney+ has completely messed up the final season of Dragon Ball Z: Kai here in Canada. Episodes with the wrong description, wrong thumbnail, wrong order, repeating episodes...

I can't believe this. She was one of my favourite comedians as a whole, and the fact she represented Canada so well really went a long way. Basically all of her performances were great, but she'll always be Moira Schitt to me. A HUGE loss. An incredible legacy she leaves behind!
To save a little money, I downgraded my Disney+ sub from Premium to Standard with Ads last month. While I wish it was still in 4k, I'm impressed with how unobtrusive the ads are! Less than 30 seconds, 1-2 times an episode. Worth saving $70/year... 😂
I picked the right time to start getting into Dragon Ball I guess! 😂

Been playing Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered lately, and it's been lots of fun! It's basically Star Wars Doom, Nd very much of its time, but I've been enjoying shooting Stormtroopers and Imperial Officers! Hoping for a boss fight soon, though.
Today I deleted my Twitter account. I downloaded my archive just in case I ever wanted to see things from it, though. It's nice to finally click that deactivate button. It's such a shell of what was, once, my favourite social media app. Been loving Bluesky as an replacement, though! 🙂
