I love well-done sex scenes! I think they’re an important part of storytelling because sex is a motivator, an expression of who a character is, and a catalyst for change in characters! When it becomes gratuitous is when it seemingly doesn’t serve any kind of purpose to the narrative.

The thing that immediately struck me in the pilot was when Suzaku’s CO finds him talking to Lelouch and jumps straight to “kill the girl and the school kid, no witnesses to my fuckup” like yeah, huh. They really will instantly roll on the nearest person to save their own ass. That seems familiar.

I also really like her as an alternate pairing for Erik because I get why people ship him with the Luminary but they’re way closer to brothers than lovers imo, and he has a couple really cute interactions with Serena that really got their hooks into me.
