The Foreign Minister has just claimed on #Insiders that our government is not in a position to determine the legality of the brutal attacks on Iran. The law is clear, Senator, it's ILLEGAL. Stop the bullshit, please.

Annabel Sutherland is Australia's best cricketer right now. Probably the best in the world. #AusInd
It's a good point you make. The Oz Greens do have a broad agenda and are seen to, too. Significant traction was made when an MP named Max Chandler-Mather strongly supported renters and young home buyers who can't compete in the market. Sadly, he lost his seat and voting support has declined since.
2/2 This enabled a very open contest, that in itself, gathered a lot of press and the most charismatic and effective communicator won. The impact has been huge. The Australian Green parties could look to emulate this. The leader shouldn't have to sit in parliament, either (Zack doesn't).
1/2 I've been pondering the lack of Australian Green party improvement in the polls compared to the England and Wales Greens. Zack Polanski was elected leader of their party by the membership, and not selected from some secretive party-room vote.
Labor had the nerve to table their Closing the Gap report in Parliament yesterday with the PM grinning in a glossy brochure, like a photo op could hide the fact that they are utterly failing First Nations people.
"We" here is your complicit, clearly compromised, Labor government.
I support international law, and these military actions by the USA and Israel are illegal.
Israel and the US have launched an unprovoked and illegal attack on a sovereign nation during ongoing diplomatic negotiations.
We should not allow the UK to be dragged into another American war.
We must do everything possible to stop this and uphold peace in the region.
Hope is there.
Let's bring it here.

So politicians want school kiddies to be taught more โAustralian valuesโ?
Which ones are those? Alcoholism, toxic masculinity, colonialism, anti-science, anti-expert, ecocide, racism, genocide of First Nations peoples, banning public protest, profit at the expense of affordable homes?
Which ones?
Yet again - how many times can I say it - every day that goes by with Group Ticket Voting still on the books in Victoria and no clarity that is will be removed is a disgrace. archive.is/wDTJ2

But genocide enablers are welcome. Got it.

They're welcome to come to the University I work at. I look forward to lecturing them on the importance of wearing full PPE when in the teaching labs.
It's Friday afternoon and another coal mine extension has been approved by the ALP.

Sad to hear of the passing of Bud Cort. His, and Ruth Gordon's, incredible performances in Harold and Maude have had a profound influence on me since childhood.

Just so weโre clear:
Protesting a genocide and the invite of a man credibly accused of war crimes = unacceptable violence
Police beating and detaining said protestors = justified violence
We have optional preferential voting in NSW. My vote will certainly exhaust before getting to any who support the Minns government's laws.
An excellent summary of what occured last night:

Got caught in a police-initatiated crush because we weren't allowed to march peacefully thanks to the Minns Labor government.

Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.

Labor is passing laws that are more extreme than what Trump has attempted, on immigration and speech, largely at the behest of the media. But if Trump tried to do it, the same outlets would say they were bad, fascistic overreach. Insanely dumb country.
Make no mistake: the changes the Liberals made with Labor on the hate speech laws make them worse. Hear me explain just some of the impacts here.
A sincere thank you to Louise Adler for her strong position on this.

Randa Abdel-Fattahโs response:
Not sure I completely understand this argument given voting is an intrinsically private process.
Anyway, thanks Kevin for letting me contribute! โบ๏ธ
