Some other tells:
- PP usually communicates via service@paypal.com, not gmail.
- This scammer went by "iloveartwork865_63831" on Discord, fucking hilarious btw.
- This scammer "sent" a way larger amount of money than requested, so the scam can even look plausible.
It sums up to "Uh oh you hit your limit! Click this big button at the bottom of this email to give us your information so we can upgrade your account and give you the money", which is where they steal your banking data, of course.
My friend was almost scammed like this. The scammer refused any other payment methods; and after they got sent a paypal-me link, they instead asked for the artist's email. That's because their intention was never to pay, but instead to send this phishing email.

I'm going to keep it short and sweet. If someone tries to commission you and pay via PayPal, and then you do not see the payment in your account, instead you just get an email like this, DO NOT CLICK ANYTHING in this email.
