I was expecting project. A good meaty week of tinkering and stuff, rolling up my sleeves and doing LINUX!
Then it all worked with my hardware immediately. In a few hours I had it playing games. A few more and I had all the apps I use most.
Bananas.

Musing on game difficulty:
If my game makes every small thing hard, I can only ask the players to do small things.
I’ve found more success by making small things easy and asking players to do several different things all at once.

In 2023, I managed to slip out before the layoffs hit me, and landed a new role in 2 business days.
In 2024, I managed to secure a new role in 31 days, leaving 3 weeks before those layoffs hit.
Unfortunately, I couldn't keep dancing through the lightning strikes.
I'm now looking for work.
