These Valkyries are looking more and more like a playoff team every day.

This Valkyries-Sky game looks exactly like a game with both teams missing multiple top scorers. We look destined for yet another close one.

Great thing about this Valkyries team is there isn’t a true “star player,” but there’s a good half dozen players unafraid to take the last shot. Ceci was the bucket tonight, next game it could be someone else. Love this team.

I actually think informed consent does a good job of striking the right balance and probably the biggest problem with the concussion epidemic was the lack of informed consent (up to and including that concussed players can’t consent to continuing to play)

I mean, yeah, basically. Sports is barbaric and unfair, and athletes put their health on the line for our entertainment. They’re gonna keep doing that forever, including with the head injuries we’ve already studied (see: Tua).

And doctors did a fuckton of research, and we progressed. Sports isn’t at that stage with Achilles injuries yet.
