Today I've been doing some recording at the Laudato Si Centre, Salford
The best bit was listening to some children talk about how being in creation helps wellbeing and how we all needed to work together
It's not surprising children have such wisdom. It's just a shame we don't listen to them more
It is wrong to stop people fleeing war and persecution from having the ability to come to the UK legally and claim asylum. The Home Office's proposals punish vulnerable populations and are using these communities as scapegoats.
I have written to the Home Secretary to outline my deep concerns.

Lots more needs to be done, but at least emissions went in the right direction last year

I took my time with this book because, like the author, it deserves close and thoughtful attention
It is a beautiful, heartfelt book that has much to teach about ministry, being brave, speaking plainly and recognising the journey of understanding, and misunderstanding, that we are all on

Six yrs ago I re-learned to ride a bike
It's days like this that make me so grateful to all who encouraged me and helped my confidence in those early days
With little sleep and a mind whirring on many things, the cycle commute today, in the Spring sunshine, did much to boost my wellbeing

I am really looking forward to these two events to mark International Women's Day. Saturday's will tell the stories of women who have had an impact on the life of Manchester and the cathedral. Monday's gives us an opportunity to delve into Feminist Theology.

Love her characterisation- a formidable woman of faith
Research was lacking on Manchester and the cathedral - or the collegiate church as it was then- which is a shame
