The EBU article really makes a point of saying broadcasters as much as possible. The last time they used countries in the headline was for Liverpool. It's like something happened in 2023 π

C2C has consistently been held at this time in March and Radio 2 has a partnership with the event. It's normal for them to do this. Still it's very convenient timing.
I note RM are not on the lineup this year. If they are the act it would of been good promotion to perform the song there.

The Remember Monday rumour is fun for me because I saw them back in 2018 at one of the Country songwriters nights I used to attend in London. I made an OG3NE comparison at the time. They've done very well since then but I never imagined them on a Eurovision stage.
