Oh nothing, just continuing to make pretty things while the country implodes...

These little owls are here to spread a little joy while they wait for their wings. Sometimes we all need a rest.

Some days it's harder than others to feel optimistic, but I think having tools in my hands helps. And to those out there still supporting the arts in these times, we artists can't thank you enough.

The answers, I think, are 1. Because we still need art and creativity and beauty in the world, 2. Proceed with caution but don't give up hope and 3. I can't, but some will anyway.

The struggle to be motivated to create is so real right now. The country is falling apart around me, what's the point in making my silly little suncatchers? How can I book markets for the year when there is so much uncertainty? How can I expect anyone to spend money on art in this moment?🧵

Anyone still buying art and silly little things made by artists when shit’s this scary are the goat. I could honestly cry every time I get an order if I think about it too much, little guys are the epitome of a non essential and you guys still like them enough to buy them anyways 🥹🥹🥹😭😭
