the acts and boss relics work differently; there are multiple possibilities for each of the 3 acts and instead of a relic from an act boss you get a weird god with their own weird options at the beginning of the next act
the new characters seem cool to me, and the old characters have some cool new tools
it's in the ballpark of the first one though, not crazy amped up like silksong from hollow knight. at least in what i've seen so far
hard to say since i don't know any of the enemies or bosses or most cards or relics yet. but i won 1/5 of my first runs and the win was with a miracle and the others didn't even reach the last act
