I don't know what broke, it was so long ago! The running theory is that a ghost broke it since some people see a ghost in the middle photo and it turned out it was the location where a boy was killed by the train. Very sad story but after those photos it wouldn't work at all anymore....

I picture them hovering off the wall by a couple inches mounted on a block or something that's smaller than the Polaroid so it looks like they're floating. Almost like they're being handed to you. I hope that makes sense, I don't think I'm explaining what's in my head very well
