For those who would like to have their Friday evening dose of shock, here's the Menendez indictment in full. Includes frequent references to Menendez meeting with members of Egyptian intelligence, subverting the democratic process through corruption and a corrupt halal meat certification company:
What message will it send recipients of US aid if this brazen illegal effort to corrupt aid decisions is not responded to firmly?
Itโs inconceivable to not place a hold on 100% of Egyptโs conditioned military aid and show the consequences for such an assault on our democratic institutions.
These are US politicians & decision/policy makers walking all over the suffering of Egyptians without batting an eyelash.
