kobo libra feels kind of pricey but I know my perception is warped by *mazon's no-profit-on-hardware pricing

Ok I think I have a plan
1. Attempt to replace the battery in my current Kindle. If I fail or the battery life still sucks,
2. Buy a Kobo Libra or Pocketbook Verse Pro. (I like reading in the tub so I gotta have buttons and waterproofing. I also prefer a 6" screen tho I'll settle for 7")

I'm reading online that it limits you to just one library card and you have to switch accounts to get books on other cards. Is that true or is there a workaround?

It is admittedly 10 years old... So it may be time for a new e-reader... I know there are good non *mazon options now, but the option to send from Libby direct to Kindle is so nice

I don't really buy books anymore because I can get most of what I want from the library 🫣
