Ok
We want to jam. But we don't know what a jam is.......
Halp?

Good idea. Allows for a large environment to explore while simultaneously keeping manageable boundaries.
We had a months long campaign that took place in the south pacific using various sized vessels. It was alot of fun
I would be happy if the journalists at least stated openly which games are AI written and dev'd.
Are we getting into the time when we should start labeling the human vs AI percentage of the project?
I would still buy a game with 100% human written story and maybe partially AI coded......maybe.
Unfortunately I just listed those goals in priority order
Yeah. Gives me all kinds of feelings.
Trying to stay helpful, reasonable, and not in prison
We started boycotting uhaul once it became apparent that they didn't care what their vehicles were being used for. Now I'll just have to make sure to nix any other company that guy is associated with.
If they aren't going to care about our voice then maybe they will care about our wallets.
Can anyone make a suggestion for a good company to use for a small run of a custom card game we just designed?
Can do. Will do!
If that's the case I will see if my hospital can spare some batches of toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, baby wipes etc....
I lean towards no as I think a vital part of visiting a country is interacting with some amount of its culture, not just witnessing its geography.
Awesome.
We are getting ready to try the same thing in our front yard!
Hey. Let's make a pill container that is nearly the least efficient shape for its purpose. Unless it's purpose is to keep vampires a secret some demons from stealing your blood pressure meds
100%
It really encourages the whole party to focus on team based badassery
Lol.
Fair point. I guess such things would require plans that go beyond the quarterly profit model
Wow. So much to unpack from that.
There is the obvious point that people really are not very wise.
But what I'm more focussed on is that I don't think the electoral college is allowed to vote for a president that is running for a third term, regardless of what the popular vote is.
Damn
But of course my paranoid brain is wondering if this is a marketing excersise to determine what content is still viable for them to start publishing again.
Not sure if this speaks to my damage or to the industry's?
Or both?
Wow. I know how that article makes me feel.
And now I'll go ask Chat to write the first few paragraphs of my rebuttal.....oh wait......
Very helpful for those of us who have been living under a rock for the last year. Thanks!
Lol.

But in all fairness
The customer base has become whiny shits who are too easily distracted by marketing and the loudest voice in the room. We've earned our punishment (grin)
100%
Imagine what could happen if even one of the bigger production companies took the long term approach and actually made thought-out, customer focussed, quality games? The lack of competition would be astounding.
Can I just say that cards against humanity do some awesome hilarious stuff and that I think that I respect those crazy fuckers! Inspired by their recent settlement with Fuquad Musk's SpaceX. Who wants to help us with the graphic design for our dragon poker deck?
And, without hyperbole, my absolute best games are the ones that went off the rails the fastest.
When I'm feeling super snarky I give a little prize to the first player who totally fucks my plans or expectations.
And besides, with my crew, most of my prep falls out the windows within ten minutes of my first player opening their gob.
I still prep. But it's story prep, not game prep. I have certain opinions on the state of the space that people are stressing about "prep", but I'll leave that to a different rant.
I agree that it's the time shared that has the value.
Im sure the industry will completely misinterpret our lack of early spending.
Peeon #1: "Mr CEO, no one is buying our games until they go on sail!"
CEO: "What?!?!?!!? This must be related to vaccines or Tylenol!!! Fetch me RFK at once!!!!"
I'd also be ok if games came out in smaller "episodes" that were priced appropriately. But ultimately we need to stop buying half baked games just because they are new and shiny. My friends and I have all agreed to no longer purchase new games until they've been properly vetted.
Yeeeeeeessss!. Slings are where it's at for elegant silent precision.
But might I observe, that possibly, the most elegant of weapons is ingested poisons.
