Grandparents ( some) are such a Godsend because of the love and support they offer their children and grandchildren. If I or my sister got sick or needed help, my parents would be here asap to help us. I miss that. It’s a struggle but I try to help my twin sister whenever I can. Miss them both.

Impromptu visit to see my sister so I can help her take care of her youngest who’s sick with the Flu. They have no leave left after all the cancer treatments she went through so I’m taking care of him. If my parents were alive, they’d be here in a heart beat to help her out.

It’s been a year since my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was such a horrible year on top of everything else. I’m glad she’s better and we can move on from this - happier and healthier.

I’ve spent a lot of time this week thinking of the Outer Limits episode called “Lithia” Major Jason Mercer awakes from a cryogenics experiment to a primitive Earth society devoid of men. His presence among these women, many of whom have never seen a man, begins to complicate everything.
