MAGA just finding out that DOGE was never about “government efficiency.” Instead, it was a tool for Elon Musk to push for deregulation, shut down criminal investigations into his companies, and make it easier for him to expand his businesses in China.
Musk pulled a provision from the original bill that limits US investments in AI in China and other sectors that could threaten US national security.
He also had Tesla China sign a letter to the CCP in July 2023 pledging to enhance "core socialist values".
