Sienna Valentine officially entered the world yesterday, and it started with me tweaking some reshade settings and fully embracing what the sims is truly meant to be: a chaotic mess ๐ฅ
Me too ๐ฅน Itโs really special, because you can actually see Virginia starting to trust someone again. And thatโs a huge step for her. Of course she trusts Rowan (otherwise this would be very awkward ๐) but opening that door to someone else too? That says a lot about how much sheโs slowly healing.

Rowanโs apology barely settles between them before Virginia moves. She doesnโt wait for him to decide whatโs careful or right or measured. Her hand slides firmly into his face and she pulls him back to her, closing the space he created.
The kiss isnโt cautious now. Itโs hungry.
Rowan pulls back first, as if he suddenly remembers the line theyโve just crossed.
โIโm sorry,โ he says quietly, voice rougher than before. โI didnโt want toโฆ I meanโโ
He exhales, frustrated at himself.
โI didnโt want you thinking I was taking advantage of the moment.โ
The distance closes slowly, the air between them thinning until it disappears altogether. And when their lips meet, it isnโt rushed, like they both understand this isnโt just a continuation of the fair. This is something chosen in the quiet after.
He lifts his free hand slowly, almost cautiously, and settles against her cheek, thumb brushing just beneath her eye.
โVirginiaโฆโ he whispers.
Her name sounds different in his mouth like this. Almost reverent.
โI donโt want you thinking that was just the fair,โ he says, voice rougher now, honest in a way that makes his pulse kick harder.
โIt wasnโt,โ she replies, and thereโs no hesitation in it.
His thumb brushes lightly over her knuckles, grounding himself as much as her. โYou were happy today."
โI was,โ she answers, almost shy now.
โI like you like that,โ he adds.
Her breath falters slightly, and he sees the shift, the flicker of hope sheโs trying not to show too openly.
Rowan watches her take those few steps. He tells himself he could let her go. That this was enough. But something in his chest refuses to close. Before he can second-guess it, he reaches out and catches her hand.
She turns back slowly, the question in her eyes softer than her voice. โWhat?โ
The way home is silent. A faint smile lingers at the corner of their mouths like it hasnโt quite left since the dance floor.

Her chest feels too full. Too warm. The music rushes around them, but itโs distant now. All she can hear is her own pulse and the sound of his low chuckle when she finally gets the step right.
The moment they step onto the wooden boards, the music swallows them whole. Rowan turns toward her with a half-grin thatโs equal parts confidence and disbelief. Virginia barely has time to brace herself before he spins her gently into the first step.
And then sheโs laughing.
Rowan reaches for her hand. His fingers close around hers before he can overthink it, and he gives her a gentle tug toward the light and the music.
She stumbles half a step forward, startled, turning to him with wide eyes. โWhat are you doing?โ
โTaking you to dance,โ he says, like itโs obvious.
Virginia watches. Her head tilts slightly, eyes following the couples who step in sync without thinking, the way strangers grab hands and become partners for the length of a song. The music pulls at her. She looks like she wants to go. Rowan sees it immediately.
