If that were a painting, a piece of graphic art, it would be tremendous, for it to be captured in a photograph is magical!
Reading these books was a physical experience, 1974 soaked and froze you through your raincoat and didn’t stop until it reached your skin. 1977 made you squint, dried your sinuses..
Went to the Leeds launch of @stuhennigan.bsky.social’s Keshed on Thursday. Not been to a book launch that better explained how the author, this particular author, lives their motivations, standards, dilemmas, agonies to create the story between the covers. Beautifully exhausting, in fact…Keshed!
Take care and best wishes.

Have a good trip, Des, don’t spend the whole trip trying to pick up all the places that start with Tully…, you’ll be ‘informed’ a few hours in that it’s not feasible 🙄
RWR 353M, the car reg of a family friend’s blue Ford Capri.
Love the straight lines.
See, my advice to anyone in striking distance of Bedford would be treat yourself to this exhibition and the gig if you can make that too.
Hard to imagine that as a good fit for a crowd that had come for Dexys and the Teardrops 😊
💥
A one-off concert with bands fronted by 2 absolute one-offs!
They’d also played Rock City on the 12th June as part of the tour they were doing (a coachload of us went for my mate’s 18th birthday).
This looks like a one-off, presumably for the filming.
Strange Currencies is a beautiful thing.
Possibility of rain later, wasn’t sure if we should put the washing out, bloke next door is a Vicar, they’ve got theirs out, assume he’s been briefed from above so putting ours out too.
