I think Guardians of the Galaxy or Iron Man would be good movies.

Why does it seem like they forgot he existed? Is this Ezra Miller's Flash or smth?
WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87?!?!
I think a dead giveaway for Daeho being a liar is the way he was shooting the gun by the end of Season 2.

Dawn is mostly inspired by myself in school, but there are also elements of Bojack, particularly in portraying them as a flawed person trying to be better and portraying how their flaws negatively impact their relationships. There will be two relationships breaking apart by the end

Of the queer characters, we get the most insight into Dawn's life. Their gender identity makes them a primary target of conservatism in Florida, which is a major reason for their dislike of the state. It also causes friction with Helga, their bigoted grandmother.
#WeeknightWriters
It depends on the character's social standing.
Aniyah and Camila are very popular people, so they're seen as couple goals.
Rose and Brynn are relatively well liked, so their queer identities are more ignored.
Dawn is the pariah, so they get the brunt of the bigotry.
Dawn Towry - nonbinary, sapphic
Benjamin Fortier - queer
Aniyah Wallace and Camila Flores - lesbians
Rose Libertad - bisexual
Brynn Meadows - bigender, pansexual

Moody teen meets Smiley McSmilerPants and comes to learn that her smile has quite a few cracks under it.
Grossly oversimplified because of the stupid character limit
#LGBTQWriteAThon
Baddie 1: Hayden Bowers
Your standard bully. He tries to provoke Dawn into hitting first so he has free reign to hit back
Baddie 2: Aniyah
A Mean Girls-esque villain who tries to dig up dirt on Dawn
Baddie 3: Helga Towry
Dawn's racist transphobic grandmother they live with

Dawn: Devaluing the issues Abigail and Ben face thinking it's not as bad as what they go through
Abigail: Treating Dawn like something to be fixed, trying to force them to be nice to people who treat them like shit

I don't know if this really counts, but my brother got me "In Their Shoes" by Jamie Windust as a gift and I binged that shit for like two weeks. It's not really fiction. So if THAT doesn't count, my default answer is Acception
a woman just trying to get home gets shot
PREACH!!!

I notice there's an abundance of nonbinary characters with more feminine characteristics or that are just flat out stated to be AFAB, and I don't see other parts of the spectrum much if ever.
Just realized the moodboard didn't send πππ
And honestly speaking, representation is (at least partly) about normalization. It IS normal and it should be treated that way. And a really good way to do that is to just... Write about it as it comes naturally. If it fits, go with it!
#LGBTQWriteAThon
Well, it's important because the queer rep is what feels the most genuine to me. It's the kind of environment I'm growing up in, others' differing relationships with their bisexuality, pansexuality, transness is something that personally resonates
The President of the United States is advocating for arresting the duly-elected Governor of California for his SPEECH
He thereafter admitted that the Governor of California had committed NO CRIMEβbut he still wants him arrested
Spend as much time as you need processing what that means for America
Knives Out, Nimona, and Encanto in my Top 3

Return of the old Sunnyside draft (I think this kinda counts?)
#pride #writesky
#LGBTQWriteAThon
Dawn Towry is mostly inspired by what I was like in middle school, and their arc is inspired by realizations I had about myself back then. However, their appearance and presentation were inspired by the following images. (First moodboard I've ever made so it probably sucks)
#LGBTQWriteAThon
I guess... Like a coming of age story with leads like Rae Earl and Frankie Landau-Banks? (I have no idea πππ)
#LGBTQWriteAThon
Welcome to Sunnyside is like Acception but the dynamic of the leads is switched. Also follows the idea of Bojack Horseman, but closer to the teenage experience. (I've been thinking about this for hours πππ)
#LGBTQWriteAThon
My own experiences in 8th grade for one. But, during the summer between 8th and 9th grade at one of my lowest points, I discovered a webcomic called Acception about a bullied teen forming his own inner circle, and it just went from there.
This pisses me off to no end π it's 2025 and people are getting killed for being gay in America, i don't wanna hear another fucking word from cishet ppl about "gay privilege" it doesn't fucking exist
