Spent a chunk of my day judging a middle school civics competition where the kids discussed the nature of free expression in a digital age and the dilemma of increasing voter turnout. The kids are alright, and spending just a little time with them can cure anyone of excessively online syndrome.
Graham Platner 1) had a Nazi tattoo for fifteen years. Disqualifying. 2) Explained it basically by saying he was too stupid to realize what it was. Also disqualifying. And THEN 3) Covered it up with ANOTHER WHITE SUPREMACIST TATTOO, and at this point fuck him and fuck you too if you’re still caping.
