Yes the grand proclamations part stands I think... it's one thing having an influencer facet to your comms strategy, who doesn't? But making some grand statement about moving away fromA and going all in on B - the record for marketers who do this is not great 😀
I don't remember saying anything of the sort
Who guys?
There has never been a shortage of grand proclamations from marketers that time turns into folly.
Brewdog selling and Trump bombing. It's a big school day for the credulous.
They certainly 'got punked'
Same for ads, but maybe one every ten years for that
😂🤣😂🤣
There was always a personality type that couldn't just, say, plant a garden. They had to start shouting to everyone they met that "we need to bring back gardening!" and insist all other hobbies were inferior and worthless.
Social media allowed those people to totally take over the discourse.

Tim Warwood and Ed Leigh are fantastic on the BBC commentary for the Olympic snowboarding, off the scale enthusiasm and knowledge, and just bring beautiful Olympic vibes
Seemed to me in the second half we built to a peak of almost unstoppable intensity, City couldn't live with it, then got our goal as a result. Felt inevitable that we would have to reset and regroup once we got ahead, as that level felt unsustainable for the full half.
Seems to me people are desperate for something to like/ something to point at and say is good to make themselves feel better. Also there seems to be a lot of 'I like this because...' rather than 'this is good because...'
Hah! @davidsquires.bsky.social up to it again...
That's good, fun seems to be underrated in car buying
The Kodiak is a handsome car for a SUV
Belly’s gonna get ya
So he did, and to be fair he did a lot of Salah's running for him, and had a great spirit
I think that's all a bit harsh. He's maybe more of a 'Darwin Nunez but without the shots and work off the ball'?
I am 100% sure this was a joke. Quite funny too I thought.
We take our solace from where we can get it this season. After the squad falling apart mentally and physically in Autumn, this season will be a rebuilding year at best.
