It's clear this is an illegal war. There's not much left to consider.

Over 1000 civilians dead, and we're letting Trump use UK bases to further his war.

Britain should stand firm against Trump's illegal warmongering, and stop these bombers landing on UK soil.

Assuming I'm some distance away and not instantly killed: intense fear and intense sadness that the species that made this beautiful city full of wonderful people, life, culture, history, etc, can, somewhere else, also include individuals of unbelievably horrendous evil and stupidity.

One of Alex Morss's hats:
Trustee for the Bristol Nats
Recent news - they've dumped the place
run by Mr What's-his-face
who turned it into something rotten
Sold his soul. Now forgotten
by the learned nature folk
happier in woods of oak,
fields of flowers, shores of sand:
everywhere a wonderland

A warning to those who go killing the moss
Your Karma will come, because Nature Is Boss
You will also incite The Bryologist’s Curse,
which will make the whole business considerably worse!

To find the costume of the bard
must be pretty jolly hard
How about an online search
for outlets of this kind of merch?
Well I never! Who'd have thought
there'd be so many sold & bought?
Blues and browns of many hues...
The problem here: how to choose!

From Yorkshire they came
in a whirr and a whizz
of a teleport game
for which yellow high-vis
is rule number one,
so no-one gets lost,
and the coats they all come
at affordable cost
from a specialist shop
in the city of Leeds
called "Costume & Prop
for Theatrical Needs"

Breaking news: planty fella
found some Lycopodiella
Someone saw it here before,
back in 1854
Since that day, the span of time
with no report of any sign
of such a species growing here
led to thoughts of β€œdear oh dear”
until this dazzling display
of yellow-green was seen today!

This might be the same bird that I heard about and looked for unsuccessfully yesterday and today, at Drift Cafe, about 2 km east of North Berwick. Maybe it drifted west of Drift!

JOHN PLAYFAIR? Does anyone remember John Playfair? Is anyone interested in John Playfair (1748–1819)? He was a major scientist, mathematician, and professor of natural philosophy and he has his own monument on Calton Hill. The anniversary of his birth is on 10 March.

Yes, total lunacy from Trump. As his proposed actions would lead to very significant increases in carbon emissions, perhaps we shouldn't discount the possibility that in that diagram red = with Trump and blue = without him. Grrrr!

Trump is not a scientist
He has no understanding of climate change
Yet he is deciding that there will be no more regulations to reduce emissions that is fueling climate change
If your going to ignore scientists and allow stupid and greed to rule
Be prepared to pay a very very high price

If we found microscopic life on Mars the media would go ballistic with excitement
Yet here on Earth species after species the likes of which we will never see again are on the verge on extinction and all we get from the media is
deadly silence

Excited to have just found the uncommon moss Antitrichia curtipendula on an old Sycamore here in East Lothian, Scotland. A rarity in the Scottish Central Belt. Two previous records of it in this county: in 1902 and some time between 1950 and 1989.
