Lot’s of snow. But the DS can handle that with ease.

Nice picture. In Amsterdam it sometimes happened that people even jumped in front of my car to take a picture.
Which car stands out from the rest? Exactly! The Citroën 2CV's design is and remains iconic.

The sand of the beach on Rømø island in Denmark is really strong so you can drive on it. It’s a spot where you can find many classic cars. Such as this beautiful Citroën 2CV.

This HY which I saw in Osnabrück will probably never drive. But they do bake delicious crepes.

The Citroën H vans are still a common sight in Europe. Mostly as food trucks. And now and then as a camper van. Isn’t this ultimate camping?

The 2CV Fourgonnette was introduced in the spring of 1951. In France and Switzerland, these vehicles were often to be found at the post office and small businesses. Production was discontinued in mid-1978.

The fabric roof of the Citroën 2CV is secured with two clips on the inside. A brick on the roof works too, but that does come at the expense of aerodynamics. 😊
The Citroën Traction Avant is the first front-wheel drive made in six-figure quantity: over 760.000.
The station wagon version of the DS was introduced in 1958. It was known by different names in individual markets (Break in France; Safari, and Estate in the UK; Wagon in the US, and Safari and Station-Wagon in Australia).

Four years ago my dad died. I drove him to his last restplace in an extended Citroën DS break. Recently a friend psssed away and there was in front of me the same DS break! That was quite a difficult moment but also so beautiful that he had chosen the same car.
My second DS. A dark blue Pallas. With 5 gears much more silent then my previous DS with only 4 gears. And the excellent isolation contributed to that too.
The Citroën DS appears in quite a few comics. This one remains funny. In which the main character 'Gaston' explains to a friend about the big fish he caught. The driver of the DS only understands it a little differently.
The Citroën HY is often used as a foodtruck nowadays. And I must admit. When there are several foodtrucks on a festival I choose the HY. 😊
Yes. Here too. Even people jumped in front of the car to make a picture when i was waiting for the traffic lights.
My dad worked at the Citroën head office in Amsterdam. One day a men was in front of this desk interested in the magnificent Citroën SM. Well, the rest is history.
This is my first DS. A 1972 DSuper in scarabe brun. It was a wonderful comfortabele car but with only 4 gears a bit noisy. So my next DS had 5 gears.
This 2 CV Sahara model, introduced in 1958, is intended for expeditions in the French colonies. Since Citroën did not have an engine powerful enough for four-wheel drive, it opted for two coupled engines. Despite the displacement of only 425 cc per engine, off-road performance is decent.
