There comes a point where violence becomes logical. I'm not the man to define specifically when that is, but I conceed the air is thick with the signs.

It could be argued that the fact that one side responds with logic and empathy and the other side responds with fear and violence is not an aspect of the two sides but a defining reason that there are two sides in the first place.

One thing that the people I disagree with and I can agree on is that that would be great as long as the people I disagree with aren't also doing it.

Many people arent speaking out about the way things are going because they understand that things are complex, and they don't want to be annoying and they don't want to just be another voice lost in the din and, honestly, with that level of awareness and empathy, those voices may be the most needed.

My problem is that my "lists" become magnificent beasts that go madly out of control and run off into the night to frighten villagers. I have a gift for turning simple things into monsters.
