The water and starlings analogy is so on point! Truly enjoyed this piece!
Too much data, too little thinking.
A important essay from Ruslan Medzhitov on the importance of understanding data, not just generating it. A must read.

#MicrobiotaPower via #Exercise! Phelps, Meisel &co show @cp-cell.bsky.social that exercise drives formate from microbiota that in turns activates NRF2 in CD8 T cells driving STAT1/IRF8 programs that potentiate immune checkpoint inhibitor efficacy against #melanoma! dlvr.it/TLqLW7
We are hiring! Please help spread the words. Thank you!
Abstract deadline extended to Monday, June 30! And travel grants are still available to student and post-doc members. Don't miss out - REPOST to share the info with others.

Whenever I feel hopeless, Iβd look back 100 years and then feel much more grateful and hopeful with what we have now. I hope it doesnβt get worse than that. π€π€π€
Beautiful work by Ed Thorpβs team. We did a journal club on this paper and learned a lot about the crosstalk between resident macrophages and cardiomyocytes through thromoxane signaling and efferocytosis.

Do we meet at City Hall or do we march to City Hall? I guess probably meet at City Hall since people will be from many different institutions.
