Here are pictures of the metal I found. The blade is supposed to cut the laminate at that metal edge, but one side (first side pictured) is worn down, so the blade is just pushing it. Non-worm down side for comparison.

I have been here since October. I do not order parts. I do not place repair calls on machines. This cutter is so different than any cutter I’ve ever used, I’m surprised I even saw the issue.

But, y’know. My bad for trying to find the issue. I should’ve just yelled and thrown things like she did.

Literally yesterday I identified a problem with a machine that was frustrating the manager. I looked inside the cutter and noticed that the metal was worn away in the spot where it wasn’t slicing through.

I show her this and promptly get hit with an “Okay. Then FIX it.”

Actually maybe five things:

4. You don’t know something? Wow you’re dumb.

5. You do know something? Wow, how stupid of you to think you know something. Idiot.

This job is teaching me three things:

1. I am very hatable.

2. Asking questions is bad and annoying.

3. NOT asking questions is also bad and annoying.
