I guess this is the simulation vs game thing, but gosh, when magic is being thrown around, can you really argue for simulation? D:

Round time being six seconds or action costs taking X amount of time are obviously extrapolations that some people just refuse to engage with.

People who can't get over balance beating realism in tabletop games are the second worst tabletop players imo.

Min-maxers I can deal with and even love sometimes. Goblin energy? Also something I can love!

But "That's unrealistic so it's a dumb rule!" are people I can't even start with D:

I'm quite serious about this. It'd be fun to do a (short) campaign to drum up some love of Pathfinder and for me to practice goofy villain voices.

I really wanna do a tabletop streaming project. Like a pathfinder campaign that I stream or record to do GM lessons or something.

I don't think SMITE gets a claim on "elemental man with a beard" tbh. It's a sort of generic entry because the theme itself relies on something that's become generic. Which is me just repeating myself, but you didn't seem to read it the first time, so maybe the second will help.

"God" is such a widely used aesthetic with so many iconic interpretations already out there that you would be making this comment with a name swap anyways tbh

Roguelike games are either a lot of fun and winnable with skill and just a bit of luck (dungeon crawl stone soul wooo)

Or they're just drip feeding content to stretch it out over absurd playtimes.
