Thereβs a growing list of things that worry me but almost always on top is a lack of trust. People donβt know who to listen to.
Leaders, elected officials, companies, neighbors, media all have different stories which make it impossible for the average person to fully believe and trust anyone.

My family just spent 4 days in nyc, rode the subway everywhere. All over Manhattan. My teen daughter and I even took it back to our hotel across town after a show. Not once did any of us feel frightened or even uncomfortable. Just real people trying to get on with their life.
Horrific.
I walked back to my hotel after dinner in each of those cities last fall and never felt unsafe.
