Panel 2: Vauruk puffs up proudly, arms akimbo. "You bet!" he says, while Dovak watches on with an air of haughty bemusement. "Us Kalvad bats are tough! And I'm the toughest!" Panel 3: Vauruk steps back and jabs a finger at the kneeling Dovak. "And now that I won, you're gonna teach me! I wanna know how you moved like that. How to punch someone through a tree. I want you to make me unstoppable!" Panel 4: A shot of Dovak, still kneeling, one fist on the ground. "On my honor as lord of my realm -- I shall uphold our bargain and become your teacher." Panel 5: A headshot of Dovak, eyes bright among dramatic shading and a red background. "Return to hell with me, and your training shall begin at once." Panel 6: "It will be grueling," Dovak continues. We see Vauruk puff up again, confident. "Harder than anything you've ever known. But when you return..."

Panel 8: Dovak reaches forward and places a hand on Vauruk's shoulder. The bat, despite his bravado, stiffens up and watches anxiously. "Most mortals would have crumbled at my first punch. The rest would have begged for mercy when I stomped them into the mud. But you?"
