Absolutely! It also makes total sense it has similar vibes, since it was recorded and released around the sane time. She has an amazing skill as a composer and the voice of an angel.
She also played most of the instruments on Water Bearer and produced the album, which is cool!
Quite a contrast, I can imagine!
But yes, it is a lovely song. Her work in general is really good!

I think I can see why @vanessafunke.bsky.social left these songs off of "Songs Of The Night".
They feel indeed a lot darker, even her voice carries more pathos. That doesn't make them bad songs, they are just very different moodwise.
Still beautiful, though!

Think of mid 90s Euro-House and Trance. Something like Jam & Spoon, Robert Miles, etc. There's a bit of influence if stuff like Dune in there too
