If you see this, don't participate. It's a rigged study by Lisa Littman and unethical researcher J. Michael Bailey meant to undermine access to care. Spread the word.

When I was a kid, the only Native representation I saw in cartoons was A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Special.
I made Pow! to show that modern, funny Native characters deserve to be seen too. Watch us on FNX. If you like it, review us on @letterboxd.social and tell your friends!

SMOKING PETS Ever see a pet smoke? Well, this one does.
Horror-end of things, Liked Smile 2 initially and now love it. I really think it plays perfectly as a companion to the first with the way it builds on expectations and creating an inner turmoil within the viewer that turns the first's oppressive hopelessness into a beautiful comedic tragedy.
I also regret to inform you that A Nonsense Christmas was kind of a mess, tone and pacing were all over the place, some songs didn't get enough air time and others had way too many jarring cuts to be captivating.
Definitely the most disappointing of the 14 holiday specials we watched this week.
It didn't sink in how small Sabrina Carpenter was until I saw her standing next to Quinta
Iβve seen better fights in a Waffle House between employees on shift
Jake Paul and his dumb beard looking like he's trying to find a pack of cigarettes to take home tonight as he's walking into the arena.

I think about the suburban wasteland of American Honey, the generations of marriages in Fireworks Wednesday, and the quiet loneliness of Certain Women. Each film reveling in the devasting impact of feeling trapped in a cultural structure and seeking a repreive from its poisonous turmoil.
Thinking about my love for my self-defined trilogy: 2016 Fragments of Womanhood consisting of:
- American Honey
- Certain Women
- Fireworks Wednesday
All three films exploring a gauntlet of age and perspective in difficult situations and I think about them at least once a week.

Bad Teacher still holds up 12 years later
The Meg 2 is still super chaiste, but it's plot is dumber and the antagonist is less annoying, so it's better than the first one.
Romanticizing being dashed upon the rocks and being swept out to sea
Honestly the funniest possible thing would be for someone to do a full requel on the tails of The Exorcist: Believer
Abby (1974) deserves a proper re-release, the time has come, Warner Bros stop fucking around and let them do a full restoration already.
