Maybe it's just a side effect of big rosters and the impact of WBC, but so far this spring, the league has attempted 454 steals over 167 matchups = 2.72 attempts per game.

Last spring, the league attempted 1057 steals throughout 2025 Cactus & Grapefruit League play over 458 matchups = 2.31 APG

and I continue to get asked why I refuse to even click on links form that dumpster fire....

McClanahan has not pitched in MLB since 2023 due to elbow and triceps injuries, but he is back now! The Rays southpaw averaged 94 MPH on his fastball and showed off his trio of secondaries. Hopefully he can find that high 90s heat as he ramps up
