I watched The Electric State last night. I really enjoyed it. Are we talking Oscar-worthy material? No. But not Razzie material either.
Lots of flaws, plot holes, and such - but it was fun and there were some good lines. Glad I watched.

I read the entire article. It very clearly states that the second degree murder charge (intentional) is still there:

Not so simple. Dropping the terrorism charges mean that he won't face first-degree murder charges. That's reserved for things like killing police, terrorism, and mass killings. He's still up against second-degree murder charges, with a potential life sentence.
