I've seen some of this and of course it is not perfect. The point is that while others adopt, we study and pilot. There is as you say mixed reviews, but one would think that they could simply look at the studies and decide.

Seems pretty much on point. Winnipeg pilots everything that has already been studied, piloted, reported and found to be useful.

In the 21st century this is evil incarnate. Poilievre is nothing more than a mini-Trump, willing to sell out our children for the short-term profit of burning oil & gas. The legacy of myopic leaders like this will be to leave a wasteland for the next generation. We must stop them. #EndFossilFuels

Great article from @maxfawcett.bsky.social that has me thinking about where we would be now if Justin Trudeau had led the Liberals into the last election and we now had a massive CPC majority that could pretty much do whatever they wanted.

Pierre Poilievre’s great reset. I would add a ? "But make no mistake: this is still the same person, even if it’s not, for now β€” the same politician. We shouldn’t confuse any of this for genuine change, not least because Poilievre himself has already rejected the possibility out of hand." t.ly/gA3fY
