Legion Remix has made people so nostalgic for that expansion that they're now doing everything they can to relive that time period, including getting the API locked down further because they can't stop abusing very clear boundaries.

Expedition 33 is a fantastic game, but I need to have a talk with whoever was in charge of the Beach Raft Volley minigame.
For anyone madge about no longer being able to disable the addon profiler in 11.1.5 - just know that it's incredibly unlikely to have given you any performance gains in the first place. Both my testing and Blizzard internal testing showed that profiling has virtually no performance impact.

Betas are pretty awkward to install for users since you usually have to turn something on in the addon client settings.
There's 0 risk of something going wrong by doing a normal release, at worst harmless Lua errors, and the more people try out the addon, the faster you'll learn if there's a bug.
