These were some of the first sketches I did for the region back before even Sun and Moon came out. The line was a starter originally but after sword and shield came out it was obviously too much like Zacian so I didn't end up using it until 2024. I'm glad I found a way to differentiate it.

What if Infernape had an Origin form from Giratina's Distortion World?

A drawing of a creature called Onimaul. It is a blue humanoid figure resembling an Oni. It has scaled arms, white antlers, and talons for hands. It wears a tiger fur loin cloth.

Onimaul seems to fight by mimicking the behaviors of other creatures and may have evolved its mismatched features to better utilize those techniques.
