As an author, I don't make a whole lot of money, but at the same time I need to read a lot of books to stay aware of trends and support my fellow authors. Obviously if I spend all my profits on other people's books, I'm not coming out ahead!

So: ways to read lots of indie books for cheap.

I am happy to have people pirate my books if they're dedicating their lives to tearing down capitalism and radically shifting societies view of artists worth... except these people are always the ones actually paying artists their worth, almost like that's an important middle step 🤔

There are some indie authors following the corporate American model of pretending their books on their websites are on sale for Black Friday by price hiking them, so if you're not a fan of that, be wary...

(You can also just buy your indie books full price to support your favorite authors ✨️)
