It was a special exhibition. I think there were around 20 or 21. I didn't have time to see all of them, alas.

They were a joy to try and hunt down 💚

Looking up in an elaborately decorated room at the Alhambra. The walls are shades of cream and beige and covered in decorative tiles. You see the top of a Moorish arched doorway with an arched window above it that has a black metal gate on it. Above that, there's some ceramic looking decoration that's shaped like a v. At the top are 3 sets of 2 windows and an incredibly ornate honeycomb vaulted ceiling.

Insanely intricate interior

The Sala de Dos Hermanas at the Alhambra was truly amazing. I can't imagine the time it took to create this. Every surface is carved or designed.

First thing in a morning when the adults resume feeding every youngster wants feeding. I spent a week looking at this image on the contents page of the Radio Times, cursing the BBC for not using one of my images. In my defense they had flipped it left to right and cropped it to a circle so I couldn't see enough of the interior of the nest box to identify it.

I wrestled with this article all day - an honest effort to assess the arguments in favour of the war, which I don’t entirely dismiss, and whether they outweigh the arguments against - on which my conclusion is no - largely because I don’t trust this admin’s motives, staying power or competence.

Book Group The last Thursday of every month was Book Group,
when the books would gather together to discuss Brian. “It’s no fun here any more,” remarked Bleak House, glumly.
“Why doesn’t he read us?” whined the Grapes of Wrath. “It makes me so angry!” 
“I’m sure he only bought me so he can show me off to his friends,”
complained Ulysses, in a stream of self-consciousness. “I bet he can’t even remember my name, The Idiot,”
muttered a voice from the Russian literature section.
“That’s because he avoids you like The Plague,” said another.
“C’est vrai!” came a cry. “It is like I do not exist.” “Let’s not give up on him yet.” It was Brave New World.
After some Persuasion, they agreed to give him one last chance.
“Be quiet!” cried Waiting for Godot with Great Expectations.
“Here he comes now!” Brian entered the room, with his phone.
He sat down and watched some videos of baby pandas falling over.
After an hour or so, he started googling cats dressed as celebrities. On the shelf, the books waited with uncracked spines,

In celebration of World Book Day, here’s a poem called ‘Book Group’.

Sunrise at a favored place on this earth. It's quiet and peaceful there. The weight of the world can be lifted away for a short time. I can look for the occasional horseshoe crab that needs rescued. I can feel sand on my bare feet. Everything is different there from day to day, but the same.

Another one to add to the list.

You could see him clutching his hand directly afterwards for a wee while too.

That last bit must have been a joy to write 😁

Just put out a new bowl of (expensive, grain etc. free crunchies for the cats - sensitive tummies) and one of them just threw up in it :sigh: I keep forgetting she doesn't always get on quite so well with this brand (though the other one adores it).

Economic migrants, if being kind, or 🤬tax-dodgers, if not.

Oof, this round has been brutal on Sky Super 6 for me. 2 measly points again! Payment for doing so well last week, I guess.
