Tell me about your ghost cats if you have a spare moment. Would love to hearβ¦
Do you think thatβs what they were doing? Seemed like a jump scare that was borderline cruel but maybe Iβm so tired that Iβm seeing it in an especially negative wayβ¦
Am on my own & a bit wobbly & myβ¦ghost (300 yr old cottage, others have experienced things) just walloped a kitchen cupboard.I told it out loud to stop.Itβs been plucking ukulele strings at 3am too.Feel privileged to witness it but also am a bit scared.Wish it wouldnβt do things when Iβm knackered π
5 of the 12 pieces in this collection have now sold but there's still some wearable antique tiny treasure if you fancy a browse-link in post below ποΈ
There's now a collection of 10 (2 have been snapped up already) one-off pieces I've made using Victorian and Edwardian lockets, stamp holders, charms & recycled silver casts of small nature finds in my etsy shop: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/silv...

A few pieces from tonightβs small collection of pieces made using Victorian & Edwardian silver charms & lockets, a tiny silver propelling pencil & a Victorian sweetheart swallow & blossom brooch Iβve converted into a pendant. Each piece is a one-off. More in next post πΏ:

Hello tree, you're extremely beautiful. Would ask you out but cross-species dating is probs not appropriate & you might struggle to come to Kettle's Yard to see the pebbles & beautiful paintings and gorgeous hanging lens bc of...the slightly unfortunate walking thing but roots are better anyway so x

@sshanmugalingam.bsky.social hi. miss you pal xxx
Flowers from the garden during an especially mild February, 2019
Valentineβs report: wrote difficult contrite email, big nap (bc autistic burnout) wrote for an hr,missed dinner bc no energy to cook),chilled with daughter for a while, bed. Didnβt get my muffin buttered BUT no dark thoughts & achieved some things.
Anyway here are the Feb pin ups of my 2026 calendar:
PLAGUE. Plague, not plaque. St Valentine had nothing to do with bacterial colonies on gnashers. Anyway good, yes, hope you enjoy my content, it almost never contains typos.
There are now just 5 spaces left on this workshopπ. It's open to anyone, anywhere & a full recording's available indefinitely afterwards. You'll learn the neuroscience of how profoundly creative activity shifts our brain biochemistry in the same way as mental health medications:
I did this workshop a while ago and it was really fun and relaxing. It helped to kickstart me back into a regular drawing practice.
As someone whoβs rather cynical about romance atm Iβve just learned that St Valentine was also the patron saint of the plaque. May your buboes be blessed tomorrow. Maybe you could make them tiny hats ππΌ. Good plan.
Thankyou πͺΆ
I didn't make this one but I have made others...
A collection of antique charms, many with a nature theme, stamp holders & small casts of nature finds in recycled silver on buff coloured linen
Thereβll be a small collection of necklaces made using these Victorian & Edwardian silver stamp holders, charms* & an aide memoire (tiny notebook with silver cover) in my etsy shop on Sunday evening 8.30pm.
*plus a few Iβve made by casting nature finds in silver. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/silv...
Heβs a friendβs dog, but he and I are pretty good pals already πΏ
Iβm going to be listing a small collection of jewellery made using Victorian & Edwardian stamp holders & charms on Sunday eve & was just about to arrange them beautifully on a vintage linen teatowel, when my new pal decided he wanted to snuggle with me instead. Not v helpful, but lovely nonetheless π€
It would be so helpful if you could RT my post above about my zoom illustration & mental health workshop - the algorithm here isn't always kind to small businesses. Thankyou so much πΏ
Meanwhile here are some illustrations by beginners who attended some of my previous workshops:
Oh new ones! π€π€π©Ά
If you have ADHD/depression/burnout/autism/any combo of these you might: put oven on for baked spud, run out of energy/spoons,getting up to put π₯ in feels like scaling K2 so you get stuck. Sending love if this happens to your brain too-yr dopamineβs run out.
Hereβs cherry plum blossom & a blackbird πΏ
