Fortunately, we are in constant contact. It has truly been a blessing. In other news, I work for his college and we’re kind of shocked at how little outreach to us as parents or to the kids there has been.

Not to throw all of the people stuck in any of the Gulf states under the bus… I’m praying for all of them constantly at the moment.

My son is stuck in Dubai with a dozen other students and a professor after attending a conference in India. Nothing has been more frustrating to me than seeing the state department tell citizens to evacuate a country without helping them at all. Commercial travel is all but nonexistent.
