Right? I'm not much of a game asset archivist if I can't even recognize Kenney's work. And to be fair, their state-of-the-art image models are all trained on Kenney's stuff, much to his chagrin.

Nope, pretty sure that's Kenney's. opengameart.org/content/rogu...
"Stardew valley"? what? That's not even the same tile dimensions. This looks like Pixelboy's work. Give me a minute...
There's over 300 3D gun models that should work for this. What sort of animations would that be? Action cycling? Quality varies, but let me know if none of these would work: opengameart.org/art-search-a...
Are you looking for 2D assets of guns being held from a first person perspective? Or 3D models of guns, which can be placed into a first person perspective?
Some people search for specific licenses because it matches their project licensing. Permitting multiple licenses, even when some are more restrictive, allows the assets to appear in broader searches. Source: I'm the site admin. but also opengameart.org/content/faq#...
Licenses on opengameart.org are "pick the one you want", not "adhere to all of them simultaneously". What's the issue?
Agreed. GPL is for software. Creative Commons is much better for art. The only reason GPL is one of the available licenses on OpenGameArt.org is for legacy reasons: Some oldskool game projects wanted to share their art, but Creative Commons didn't exist yet.
Which Kenney font is this?
2007? Nonsense! We weren't around until 2009. ๐
Well, yeah. This one saved my life: opengameart.org/content/zeld...
do the physics allow the character to smoothly walk up the stairs just by pressing right (or other direction)? or is the player required to jump up to each "platform"?
Left version if former, right version if jumping is involved, IMHO.
More if you consider each of the 3825 entries have a median two or three tracks each. :)
Do you have the original URL? I may be able to see what happened to original set. I have to say, I really like how this replacement is going, so please continue regardless!
Yes, that's one of my favorites

I'll bet you $10 you can't find any that isn't already locked. ๐
Wait, where? Copyright-infringing assets on opengameart right now?
Carpet tends to muffle footsteps, so the sound of footsteps on carpet are often too subtle to be useful. However, this asset comes close: opengameart.org/content/foot...
Also, this collection is pretty useful for footstep sounds in general: opengameart.org/content/foot...
Nicely done!
"A thousand gold to render these logs into a plank!? Bernald, how do you justify those prices?"
"You find me a blacksmith that can do it in less than 3 seconds and I'll lower my prices, Sol."
The defeated animation is adorable!
Nice! My favorite search is opengameart.org/popular?titl...
Combining the content from your old account with your new one, instead of having two separate accounts, with assets on each one. Consolidation means you don't have to sign out of one and back into the other to work with all your assets.
I was just asking if you wanted me to consolidate your accounts.
Multiple licenses are permitted so that people searching for a specific license- like CC-BY-SA- will still find an asset that would have otherwise only been licensed CC0. See opengameart.org/content/faq#...
Hey everyone! Iโm thrilled to share that Iโve joined OpenGameArt and have kicked things off by uploading 4 free pixel art packs! ๐จ opengameart.org/users/idylwild.
Find more assets on my itchio: idylwild.itch.io. Iโm looking forward to building a community of creators, and sharing more of my work! ๐
I am so sorry. Having cast the winning vote, but not understanding the implications of my actions. That said, it was hilarious!
We're always happy to answer questions about the various licenses. Searches can also be filtered by license if there are specific ones compatible with your projects.
Pretend it's a parallel timeline. Your original timeline still "exists". You're just working on some alternate history.
Even if you're not lazy, it gives you a start until you can refine the art. :)
