Amazing atheist, bad Buddhist. Begrudgingly accepting, the stress of the Trump admin. is making me physically sick, and might for years πŸ€’ My immune system is already so lousy, it can't cope with all this extra stress. I miss boring governance, so much.

This war, ahem "significant military action," has no genuine stated purpose. They've been through at least five or six purposes already and all of them are either completely illegitimate, or outright bullshit.

Wouldn't that be cool if they could do that? I totally agree with the statement that my nervous system needs an ablation. It is so hyperactive, if they could just tone it down like a good four notches. I'd be okay. It wouldn't be normal, still hyperactive, but manageable.

Kakisklepltoplutocracy. I just made that up. It's longer than I like but representative. I feel like oligarchy should also be in there somewhere but I don't know where to put it. Maybe oligoplutokakiskleptocracy? That seems far too long though. How about fucked up?

Not just Christian extremism, religious extremism. Some were deists, so they believed in God but not in a particular religion, some of them were probably atheists (at a time when that was the worst sin). However, even those who practiced religion, saw the danger. Mostly they were Protestants.

You might like this poem. It's one of several I know by heart. Always did like Emily Dickinson. Sorry to reroute you to my own post but I can't find the image and don't want to download a new one. Plus if people click on it, the alt text is already there, lol.

Mainly painting with acrylic texture, medium and acrylic paints. It's always slow going because I'm disabled and a lot of days. I don't feel like doing anything at all but on the days where I accomplish things, it feels very good. My old style is dead, I refuse to stop making art though.

You do such beautiful watercolors. I always wanted to be able to do watercolors. I suck at watercolor, lol. I used to paint these very detailed oil paintings, then I developed a tremor in my hands. I had to find a new way to paint. I'm doing impasto style now, and trying to be more evocative.

This is why Pam Bondi saying if we went after all these people, the whole system would collapse, is such a terrible irony. The whole system is collapsing specifically because we're not going after these people. Most of these people in Non-Trumpian admins, couldn't have gotten a security clearance.

Gotcha, I'm never totally sure what it means to form a federal government, parliamentary systems are weird, I'm sure you think our system is weird. I think all systems are probably weird unless you're inside them. Interesting that they don't seem to have more support though. Also πŸ‘πŸ» for explaining ☺️

I eat baked potatoes, at least twice a week. I dump all kinds of stuff on them, broccoli, cheese, sour cream, can of tuna (that's actually best when you dump it on the broccoli), caramelized onions, green onions, because all that stuff is also fairly cheap. Happy to have some Irish heritage though.

Now imagine what it's like if you can't have beans, or gluten. I literally can only afford to feed myself about every other day, if I eat a lot of potatoes. Fortunately my body really likes potatoes so that part is good. There are also a lot of things you can do with a potato, and that helps.

I really have always tried to follow World politics but during Trump administrations it becomes incredibly difficult because they just flood the zone so hard. I mean I have started calling days, daycades. By the end of March over three centuriweeks will have passed (10 daycades is a centuriweek).

I'm sorry to be so ignorant of your Canadian politics, but there's just so much politics to follow here in the US. It's become a very real challenge to keep up to date on everyone else's. Can you tell me what the NDP is? Is it the National Democratic Party? I'm just guessing, I could be wrong.

That's a very pretty duck. My aunt is obsessed with ducks, I don't know why. I don't even think they're the prettiest birds, though many of them are quite beautiful. I'm very fond of Mallards (I know they're kind of milquetoast but you don't see them very often in South Florida, so they're rare).

I think Joe Pesci in Casino said it best, "A lot of holes in the desert, and a lot of problems are buried in those holes." The monologue goes on but that's the pertinent part to this. They thought of women as objects and once they stopped being useful as objects, they became problems.

I would not be at all surprised about bodies. But a β€œdeath bell” that was once housed at the San Jose de Gracia Mission Church in Las Trampas? A church built in 1760? Yeah that is very strange. And I think it probably points to there being bodies, even if they haven't found any yet.

This is better though, thinking about them all stumbling around in clown shoes, is hysterical. I do however believe that both deserve to be preserved for posterity. Unfortunately this does not show the continuation of the speech but it does show the shoes being thrown.

I thought shoegate was just that time that W. had shoes thrown at him, and he dodged them. And after the guy who threw the shoes was removed, he finished his speech. Less impressive than when Teddy Roosevelt finished his speech having been shot, but still, one of few moments I was proud of W.

This isn't that though, this is completely effing egregious. Normally a department might put off a large purchase until the end of the year to make sure they didn't need that money incidentally for something else, these people bought over a $1 million worth of lobster, and that's just one line item.

They do this every year, this is how our government is. If you don't use your whole budget, you risk having it reduced for the next year, and it works this way even in city governments, so everyone has an EOY spending spree. You have to keep enough budget to operate with, but you also need things.

It has some decent people in it, like voices I recognize. But it's terrible. I cannot recommend this terrible mini series. I'm going to continue watching it because honestly I just want to go to sleep, if I were the tiniest bit sleepy, I'd be sleeping now. I just wanted to say I cannot endorse this.

I certainly wasn't expecting that though. If he was in the credits I missed it. He seems to be a main character too, lol. Anyway you can find "The Curse Of King Tut's Tomb" on the Roku channel, I cannot speak to the quality, I personally plan to go to bed. I have had enough thoughts for the day.

I have face blindness. I put this mini series on from apparently Hallmark c.2006, on the Roku channel because if I fall asleep they play ads so they dgaf, they will keep playing content until forever, I need the TV to sleep. And who did I hear? ...but Casper Van Dien, lol. I had to look it up...

Maybe it's something about brain damage or having been in a coma, but it can make you very prone to solipsism. It's the brain in a vat problem or going further back even Plato's cave. How do you ever know your experiences are real, and not just perceived? I'm in pain so I think I'm real? 😭 That's 🀬

Facts exist somewhere else, that's why I'm so good with facts, they seem fairly normal. They're easy to keep track of.

I think about what it must be like for memories to have a structure, to have some linear order to them. I can't even imagine it anymore. If they ever had that order for me, it's over half my life ago. Because there's only Now and the enormous amorphous blob of Yesterday where everything else lives.

11.03.2026 04:34 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

All of it was just yesterday. None of it is in any kind of order. It's just Yesterday. It's not like some of it happened in the morning and some of it happened in the evening. Although I might be able to recognize the time of day if I think about it. Everything is just Yesterday.

11.03.2026 04:34 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

It feels like they're happening all at once. When I say Yesterday, Yesterday is the longest day on Earth. Yesterday is my entire life. It has no order. But everything happened Yesterday. I really don't think people understand. They think there's some linear thing to Yesterday. But there isn't.

11.03.2026 04:34 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

It's just a lot of events, but they aren't in any kind of series. Everything happened Yesterday and it didn't happen on a timeline. So things that happened when I was six, may have kind of happened after things that happened when I was 22. They're not on a timeline. They're all jumbled up.

11.03.2026 04:34 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The short films that make up the movie that happened Yesterday, and what's happening right Now. This message I'm sending into the void right Now, as much so it will exist for me later. As for anyone else to read. Everything is all muddled up, things happened in no particular order at all.
