We need to look at people as humans and not as categories.
It's very hard because you grow up hearing phrases like "it figures" and we are so polarized to where we want to prove the other side is worse.
I feel empathy for the perpetrator. I feel for the Islamic community who gets blamed for every attack like this.
One of the things I am trying to work on is getting rid of the "it figures" mentality. Also trying to get rid of "thank God it's not someone who is (fill in blank here).
Two people died. Families lost loved ones. People are traumatized.
Don't assume because someone is "mentioned" in the files means they were involved with something criminal. I know people "mentioned" because of their articles or research. They never met Epstein.
