He has always set such good picks. They often turn into buckets. People think he's terrible on offense and he certainly has limitations... but he makes 70% of his shots, gets 4 offensive rebounds a game, and sets perfect picks. His offensive rating is 134. He's doing something right!

It's really weird too because Minnesota is blue, but it certainly could have been winnable for the Republicans once in a while if they had fielded good candidates. (Tell me if my take is off as I haven't lived there the last 20 years.)
They could. But so could Dems. And this huge change in voting behavior did not happen across all TX. Dems actually did have more votes altogether, but not lopsided like this. Some important context as well: this county is nearly all Mexican-American. Perhaps ICE policies not playing so well there...
Cornyn (GOP) is the incumbent. He was in a dog fight of a primary to keep his seat against well-known Attorney General Ken Paxton, which is now going to a runoff because no one hit 50%. Dems had an exciting primary, but there was zero reason for Republicans to sit out this race.
I bet this exact play happens like once a game for the rest of the season: SloMo to Ayo on a cut.
That's actually a terrible call. From that angle, you can see the ball is knocked out of his hands slightly. He regains control as it's hitting him in the face. Just an accidental thing. Should be no call. Am I seeing that wrong?

Good question. I'm not sure if being crazier actually does much more damage (although it could). But for the most part, if Cornyn votes with the Trump agenda 100% of the time and never holds them accountable, then what is Paxton going to do worse? (I'm honestly asking this question.)
