It's not official, but there's a rumour that the (current) Loch Lomond distillery turns 60 today. As a big #inchmurrin fan, of course I must celebrate a bit, with this 1966 dram. The bottle was intended to be opened on MY 60th, but since that's only a few weeks ahead, let's have a first taste... 🥃❤️

As you all probably know I'm a huge Fanboy of Loch Lomond Distillery ever since my first tour there in 2018. This year is their 60th birthday!

I use (all of) them mainly for stuff I want for my collection. They all have pros and cons, but SWA and TWS auctions are most convenient because I can pick up the bottles when I'm in Glasgow.

Amazing what time and O2 can do to a #whisky. This @bimber was cracked for a recent tasting I gave. It was a decent dram, very fruity but also wild. It ended 5th (of 5) at the end of the evening. But those two factors have turned it into a very tasty dram indeed and now I'll be sad when it's gone 🥃❤️

The latest incarnation of #JackWiebers #ClassicOfIslay range, a (rare) age statement released specifically to celebrate #DeinWhisky 's 10th anniversary. It's a real belter, peaty and meaty. There are no clues re distillery, but I'd bet on Laga. Yummy 🥃❤️
