It’s mostly for towns that are right on the border of Alberta like Kimberley. Some places that do Alberta time are thinking of changing back to BC time

Jay Silverheels leaning around the corner of a rough adobe wall, wearing a fringed buckskin-style shirt and a thin headband across his forehead. His dark hair is combed back. He holds a revolver in his right hand while looking cautiously to the right. Behind him are stacked adobe bricks and a wooden doorway, creating a Western-style setting.

Jay Silverheels was a gifted Canadian lacrosse player who turned to acting.
While he gained fame as Tonto in The Lone Ranger, he disliked how the character was written.
So, he chose to use his fame to help other Indigenous actors in Hollywood.
This is his story.

A black-and-white photograph showing a muddy street filled with soldiers in uniform gathered around damaged buildings. Many soldiers stand or walk along the road, some looking toward the storefronts while others face different directions. On the right side is a wooden building with a sign reading β€œR & R Stores,” with additional signage advertising confectionery, refreshments, tobacco, and coffee. The storefront appears damaged, with broken windows and debris scattered on the ground nearby. In the middle distance, piles of wooden boards and rubble lie in the street near a partially damaged structure. Utility poles, trees, and several small buildings line the street in the background.

On March 4 and 5, 1919, Canadian soldiers began to riot at Kinmel Park in North Wales after their voyage home was postponed due to a number of factors.
The riots led to five deaths and 25 court martials.
This is the story.

Hey Media, while you’re asking Poilievre about stuff like this, please dont forget to ask him for a more credible reason why he STILL REFUSES to submit to the completely normal security check for an up-to-date security clearance during one of the most uncertain & dangerous times in Canadian history.

I always think about back in 1998 I was at my friend’s house and she was listening to music on her discman. Her brother asked what she was listening to and she replied β€œGarbage.” He goes β€œOh, The Smashing Pumpkins?”

When I was a teen on a cruise ship I won 2 contests in 1 night: dance competition and hula hoop. I also got forced to sing by a piano guy at a singalong. All 3 gave me bottles of champagne. The next morning the staff all got a memo about not giving booze to minors.

Parsley day 2: I made a marinade that will sit overnight and then go on a piece of wild salmon tomorrow. My parents got this recipe in the 90’s from a Save-On-Foods booklet and it was from a local firefighter 🍽️
