But giving up and using ai heavily to make your stuff better just isn't the way, man. Me tracing art in elementary school didn't teach me anything. Looking at art and using it as reference in a way you're not tracing is absolutely a way to learn and get better...

Every artist is their own worst enemy, I would know. I see how artists are with themselves, not many accept compliments or even tell themselves their stuff looks good. It really takes years of fighting the urge to give up and comparing yourself to someone else's skill to improve.

There's been a rise in beginner artists heavily relying and tracing ai generated art, and its just sad
One that got called out justified it by saying "ai can do it better than me". You know why ai does it better? Because artists that have already existed and honed their skills, had it stolen.

I DONT EVEN KNOW DUDE, dude's insults just fell flat because in the end dude's just stealing art that's theirs and adding minor tweaks/crops, or just genned things
Who are they to talk when they never even tried being an artist, just being a crappy scammer

I started playing ecos la brea yesterday and I got to amass like 8 horses total in the herd, we lost half of them to the tar pits bc they just waltzed in it thinking it was safe
literally turned around and saw 4 horses laying down DEAD

I think what I want one of my new year resolutions to be is to finally convince my gf to have a dinosona so i can finally draw mine kissing hers
